1) Modifiers: They describe or enhance the meaning of another part of speech.
Example: He is always late.
2) Question words: What, who, how, excuse me? where, where to, where from, when, why.
3) Descriptives: These are the most widely used adjectives that describe nouns and pronouns.
* They never change like they do in many other languages.
* They go in front of the noun and after the verb to be.
Examples:
Noun:
The white house.
To be:
The house is white.
Practice:
1) Kyle has hair. (brown)
Kyle has brown hair.
2) Paola's eyes are. (brown)
Paola's eyes are brown.
3) Paola is a girl. (good)
Paola is a good girl.
4) Kyle eats meat. (never)
Kyle never eats meat.
5) Kyle bikes to work on his bike (always, gray)
