Present Passive expresses an action that happens at the present time to the subject of the sentence. Present Passive functions the same way in the present the way Present Simple does when we use the To Be verb.
* In Present Passive we are usually talking about the type of object in general.
* To form Present Passive we put the To Be auxiliary verb in front of the Past Participle
form of the verb. Example: Volkswagens are made in Germany.
1) Patients are taken to the hospital in Ambulances.
2) Tee Pees are made out of wood.
3) Dead people are laid to rest in cemetaries.
4) Teeth are fixed by dentists.
5) Zebras are eaten by lions.
6) Children are taught by teachers.
7) Animals are fed by their masters.
8) Cars are driven by their owners.
9) The metro system is used by thousands of people every day.
10) People are killed when there are wars.
11) I am sadened by world hunger.
12) Famines are caused by a lack of food.
13) Coca-Cola is sweetened by sugar.
14) Clothes are washed by detergent.
