The Pre-Recorded history section is divided into nine sub-sections, becoming more detailed, thus representing less time back and accross the page, by the power of ten as time moves closer to the present, until the 30,000 years back section, where it is three times more time-detailed, folowed by 20,000 years back where it is twice as detailed, followed by 2,500 years back where it is twice as detailed again. It is designed like to make it possible to expand the time detail in the same way power of ten size pages work, so you can expand what you are looking at as though you are looking at it through a microscope. In this way, the adjustment of the detail of time can be percieved in the same way as space can.
The progression of the increase of time detail through the nine different time detail sizes goes like this: 10, 10, 10, 10, 10, 3, 2, 2.
The nine sections from the beginning of time to the present in the pre-recorded history section are:
1) To 15 Billion years back, 3 Billion years accross, 600 Million year column.
2) To 3 Billion years back, 300 Million years accross, 60 Million year column.
3) To 300 Million years back, 30 Million years accross, 6 Million year column.
4) To 30 Million years back, 3 Million years accross, 600,000 year column.
5) To 3 Million years back, 300,000 years accross, 60,000 year column.
6) To 300,000 years back, 30,000 years accross, 6,000 year column.
7) To 30,000 years back, 10,000 years accross, 2,000 year column.
8) To 20,000 years back, 5,000 years accross, 1,000 year column.
9) To 2,500 years back, 2,500 years accross, 500 year column.
