The Pulling & Drafting Percentage Chart shows the percentage of Pulling & Drafting that riders of the 100 levels do when riding with each other. The calculations were made with German Kreuzotter technology. The Percentages are shown with 13 tables that start by representing equal pulling and drafting percentage levels with the 50/50 table & increase by a quarter mile per hour until the 100/0 table which represents the maximum speed difference two riders can ride with each other at three miles per hour. The table with the Xs represent speed differences more than three miles per hour so the riders can't ride with each other because the slower rider is out of the faster rider's draft range. The chart to the right shows the 13 tables with their speed differences. This page is divided into four sections of compatible rider partners: 1 Profesionals, International and Domestic, 2 Category One through Four Racers, 3 Cat five Racers & Strong Commuters and 4 Average & Slow Commuters. As you can see most Profesional Racers can ride with each other as shown by by the small number of Xed tables on the edges. It appears than most "regular racers" in the Categories One through Four section can ride with each other. Almost all of the Beginner Racers and Fast Commuters can ride with each other and most of the Regular and Slow Commuters can ride with each other. This chart can be used to help determine which riders can ride with who and what the ride will be like. It is also useful as an aid in tracking our riding speed as they improve and to help one guess the levels of our riding partners. |
