760 - 803 43 Said I ibn Idris who moved capital to Nekor. In his reign, Nekor was sacked by Vikings, who took many prisoners, a few of whom were ransomed by Umayyad ruler of Spain. Later, part of Ghomara tribe revolted, led by a person called Segguen; their revolt was defeated.

859 Muslims establish oldest university in world, University of Al Karaouine, in Fez, Morocco
864 - 916 52 Said I ibn Salih his older brother & uncle led an unsuccessful revolt against him, but he was ultimately defeated & killed by Fatimid general Messala ibn Habus, who conquered area for six months. However, his sons took refuge in Málaga with Umayyad caliph, & returned once Messala had left region & successfully expelled his garrison.

917 - 27 10 Salih 3 ibn Said in gratitude, he acknowledged Umayyads as rightful caliphs, thus transferring his nominal allegiance.
927 - 9 2 Abd alBadi ibn Salih "elMuayyid"; he was defeated & killed by another Fatimid general, Musa ibn AbilAfiya, who destroyed Nekor again. However, line was resumed (and city rebuilt) by:
930 - 5 5 Abu Ayyub Ismail ibn Abd al Malik ibn Abd arRahman ibn Said I ibn Salih who was defeated & killed by yet another Fatimid general, Sandal mawla. However, when Sandal departed for Fez, installing a governor called Marmazu of Kutama tribe, inhabitants rebelled & installed yet another member of line:
936 - 40 4 Musa ibn Rumi ibn Abd asSami` ibn Salih ibn Idris I ibn Salih who defeated Marmazu & sent his head to Umayyad Caliph in Cordoba. However, he was soon exiled by his relative:
940 - 7 7 Abd asSami ibn Jurthum ibn Idris ibn Salih I ibn Mansur His people rose up & killed him, & then sent for one of his relatives from Málaga:
947 - 70 23 Jurthum ibn Ahmad ibn Ziyadat Allah ibn Said I ibn Idris who adopted Maliki school of jurisprudence.
